Artist Talks

As part of the Lateral Lens project, eye4change has worked with a number of artists and the films that follow are from specially commissioned Artist Talks, that we hope will serve to give insight into how artists work and hopefully, inspire your own creative expression.


Eunice Bossman-Okai is an artist who situates her practice between conceptual and abstract art. The ideology behind her art practice has a strong contemporary presence due to its dynamic combination of materials, methods and concepts that challenge her and her audience’s boundaries.

Her practice involves working with very tactile materials and natural resources making texture an important and relevant aspect of the work. Rooted in her spiritual beliefs which are influenced by her culture, nature, and spirituality

Anthony Jones is a photographer who has developed his fine art photography practise working with a Hasselblad camera and black and white silver gelatine prints exploring the urban environment. Alongside he works with the Cyanotype process.

Wan-Ru, Lin was born in Taiwan but lives and works in London. Fascinated by the possibilities of photography and videography, Wan-Ru has engaged analogue dark-room techniques alongside digital images and documentary videos. With a focus on process and aesthetics, Wan-Ru has approached topics including dream, time, environment and manipulation of materials, light and photographic technologies, always questioning the possibility of the image
