Rough edges
It shows that not everything is as it might seem, there are some issues in society that have been hidden away and pushed to the corner

The sky represents isolation and the leaves on the trees represent the natural world. What this image shows is that no matter where you go, there will always be someone watching you

The young imagination is a curious thing how we assign a meaning or a reason for a thing… I assigned a childish story to this building, believing it was a noodle factory and the side of the chimney was used to cut noodles because of how long it is

Outside the Box
This image is about unity in the community. It tells us about how there’s more to life than sitting in front of a screen and how if we’re willing to make an effort to go out and meet new people there’s usually a positive outcome

Looks black and white although it’s in colour. I noticed this as I was walking by, I saw some dirt on the window sill and it grabbed my attention

Old times
This shows a playground that’s empty. In the past playgrounds were always full but nowadays with all the new technologies kids spend their time indoors on their phones, laptops, etc…

Blow Up
The words ‘Blow Up’ stands out because it contrasts with the black in the background. I have chosen this picture because this is a movie name made in this very park in 1966. The park scenes in the movie were at Maryon Park, South East London and the park is little changed since the film. The photo seems to reflect the passing of time…

Hidden sun
Upsetting things are frequently happening in the area and the day I took this picture there were grey skies over the tower blocks. I could however see that the sun was waiting behind the clouds. The photo shows that no matter how dull or grey the day might be, there is always hope. I hold this hope for my future and that of all other young people in Woolwich

Me myself and I
Me wearing a mask, who I am and what I am to others. The many features and stages of my life such as the ‘Fleeky Eyebrows’ that shows I’m up to date in fashion and styles of make up. The Tear Drop symbolises the many emotions I have felt, tears of joy and happiness and tears of disaster and sadness.

Just a Little Kick
This image expresses how the little things in life can mean more than you think. The boots represent the journey in life and how sometimes you just need a little push from someone/something to give you the determination to carry on

Wooden stacks
This reminds me of an artist I once studied at school he was called Edgar Müller. I like the varied colours from the mould and seaweed from the water below, which contrast with the reflection of the sun on the water beside each piece of wood
